Our team with Illuminate worked on lighting design alongside the multi-award winning interior designing firm, Hirsch Bedner Associates to design and create a scheme that encompasses elegance yet not overwhelmingly extravagance to compliment the Kempinski style. This has a full height lobby, Reception area, Large ballrooms, meeting rooms, Gym, Swimming Pool, Spa, Executive Lounge, Cigar Lounge, All Day Dining, Chinese Restaurant, Private Dining Rooms.

As the guest enters into the hotel they will experience the luxurious and comfortable interior spaces preserving the rich traditions of Kempinski – Europe’s oldest hotel group. Layers of light are positioned intelligently throughout the space with background ambient levels softly lifting the ceiling lines; complimented with strong punches of down lights either pooling the floor or to accentuate the surrounding sculptures, seating pods and artwork.

The public areas all have preset light scenes with an automated time clock scene setting arrangement as well.  These preset scenes will gradually change to reflect the service and the time of day for each area.  The guestrooms use a room control unit giving a switching arrangement in the standard rooms and scene setting within the suite rooms. The guestroom corridors and lift lobby also have preset scenes controlled by the hotel staff.
