Our team worked with Illuminate as lighting designers to work alongside the multi-award winning interior designing firm, Hirsch Bedner Associates to design and create a scheme that encompasses elegance yet not overwhelmingly extravagance to compliment  the Leela style. This 480 room hotel consists of two towers connected at intermediate levels. Each tower has a pre-lobby, Reception lobby, Large ballroom with can be divided into 6 halls, meeting rooms, Gym, Swimming Pool, Spa, Executive Lounge, Lobby Lounge, All Day Dining, Chinese Restaurant, Private Dining Rooms, Indian Restaurant and a Bar.

Layers of light are positioned intelligently throughout the space with background ambient levels softly lifting the ceiling lines; complimented with strong punches of down lights either pooling the floor or to accentuate the surrounding sculptures, seating pods and artwork.

A random pattern of light blocks with LED nodes and a glass jali front was designed at the drop off area to create an element of interest. The façade puzzle pieces were the inspiration for light lines in the party lawn floor. Landscape corridors connecting the two buildings have lit screens reflecting light on to the pathways. All exterior lighting is controlled by astronomical clock to switch on at the correct time of day.

This full scope project required a great deal of co-ordination to ensure the best results from the facade lighting through to the interior and landscape we always paid respect to the architecture, landscape and the interior finishes ensuring the optimum visual harmony.
