Our team with Illuminate India was appointed as lighting designers to work alongside Serie Architects to design and create a scheme for the Lodha Palava clubhouse. The building has beautiful vaulted architecture and exposed brick wall.

 

The biggest challenge in this project was to only use the walls for all lighting requirements which included spots on walls in pairs and the cove light to the ceilings for ambient light. A tight detail had been worked out for the coves to light the vaults giving general light in the space. The gym however has an interesting detail designed to the bottom of the beams with low depth adjustable spots from EXENIA for accent lighting.

 

The result was a lighting scheme that encompasses elegance yet not overwhelmingly extravagance to compliment the Architecture.
