Our team had the opportunity to work on the lighting design for the prestigious Shiridi Sai Temple in Telangana Hyderbad for SEA Architects. Our brief was to keep it very simple creating a soothing and calm environment needed in a temple. Our design included simple layering of light with accents to the Entrance door, Nandi Statue and the main Idol. General ambient light was provided using custom made wall lights to the columns which created a nice glow for the interior and the exterior. A colour temperature variation was introduced to the backdrop of the main idol to create a visual focus within the space. The project won many Architecture awards in India and abroad.
